Leah Hand - Leah Love and Lifestyle

Hi, I'm Leah, a 25 year old student, studying European Studies at the University of Essex. 

I'm passionate about Cultural Anthropology, Creative and Visual Arts, Traveling, Food and People. My love for these things was born out of my own identity, in that I was born into a family that celebrates difference and diversity in all its beauty. Equally I've lived abroad and my ancestry stretch across Europe to Asia, giving me a strong sense that I'm a world citizen. 

In a world that can seem lonely, dark and divided, I love to create lasting and meaningful connections with others. I feel one of the best ways to do this is to extend the hand of friendship in creative expressions of love, that go beyond stereotypes. Whether it be art, food, photography, an article, I believe Love is the power that holds us together.

In 2021, I am setting myself the challenge of making 'extended acts of love' my new years resolution. This is the story behind the creation of 'Leah Love and Lifestyle', where like-minded  people can come together, learn about culture and lifestyle similar and different to their own, through the written word.
